The Legacy Barn is proud to offer Day of Directing coordination services with our Signature Package by the award-winning, Blissfully Simple Events.  This package helps our Brides and Grooms as well as their families, by assisting them through their planning and coordinating of the entire event.  This allows you and your family to be GUESTS at your wedding.  You can learn more about Crista and her team (Blissfully Simple Events) by clicking HERE.

If you are interested in upgrading your Day of Directing Package to Full-Service, where Crista and her team becomes your Executive Bridal Assistant – that upgrade price is only an additional $750.  See below under the Day of Directing Package description to see what in included in the upgrade to Full-Service.

Below explains all of the services you receive by booking your wedding at the Legacy Barn.

Day of Directing Wedding Planning Coordination Package”    (Included in the Signature Package):

This package gives you the enjoyment of planning the entire wedding yourself while still having the assistance of a professional to make your dream a reality. We know the Barn like the back of our hands so we can help you customize the Legacy Barn to the wedding of your dreams.  PLUS, you save money. You can’t get much more Blissfully Simple™ than that!

  • Unlimited phone calls, emails and texts.
  • The step-by-step Bliss Method ™ Worksheet.
  • Up to 3 meetings prior to the wedding (approximately 60-45 days out) where we will:
  • Review all four phases of The Bliss Method™ that you completed
  • Complete both Ceremony & Reception agenda worksheets
  • Provide solutions to any family or etiquette issues
  • Design the complete layout and flow of both Ceremony & Reception
  • Contact each vendor with pertinent information, provide them with updated wedding timeline, agenda and coordinate contact through the entire event.
  • Creation of Wedding Reminder Postcard with crucial times, locations and schedule of wedding day to be given to everyone at the rehearsal.
  • Attendance at the rehearsal and run it completely if the Pastor wishes.
  • Onsite set-up & functions to include:

Event Management:

  • We provide a staff that works together to make sure EVERYONE knows where they are supposed to be when they are supposed to be.
  • We do our best to think of questions you may have before you have them so you have nothing but a seamless day.
  • We will work with other vendors in order to have the day flow correctly and make sure things like the cake cutting doesn’t happen while the photographer is in the bathroom!
  • Our staff is connected via radios so we can be in different places to make the event look flawless.
  • We deal with any sensitive family issues, rowdy guests or emergencies that MAY arise.
  • Consider us your Bridal Executive Assistants. We are there to help you; your family & guests enjoy every MOMENT of the day.

 The Ceremony:

  • We will completely set up your ceremony area which includes extra tables with sand, unity candles etc… Decorations for the area and will do changes quickly if weather starts to behave badly.
  • Set up decorations if you choose to
  • Placement of the guest book & programs
  • Set up of the Memory Table (if applicable)
  • Complete management of the event
  • Pin on Boutonnieres and corsages
  • Assist any special helpers (readers, musicians, guest book & program attendants, etc…)
  • Confirm placement of rings
  • Line up entire Bridal Party (including parents & grandparents) and direct them down the aisle
  • Provide emergency management (sew on buttons, repair floral problems, & fix any issues that arise)
  • Manage Bridal Party including Flower Girl, Ring Bearer and Ushers
  • Clean up decorations from ceremony & take them to the Barn (Unity Candle, Guest Book, any left-over flowers or decorations)
  • Assist the Photographer in making sure pictures after ceremony go quickly and smoothly
  • Get the Bride, Groom & Bridal Party anything they need at any time.

The Reception:

  • Put on linens
  • Set up table decorations (table runners, flower petals, crystals, completed centerpieces, candles, menu cards)
  • Set up gift table and place card table (if applicable)
  • Light any and all candles (if applicable)
  • Place the Guest Book & Unity Candle on gift table
  • Confirm all tables and chairs are in correct placement
  • Help with buffet service if you are providing your own food or have a caterer that just drops off.
  • Assist all vendors in being ready at the right time
  • Line up Bridal Party for entrance
  • Coordinate the reception and all rituals so that they flow seamlessly and vendors are prepared
  • Consistently check on Bride, Groom and their families making sure they are enjoying themselves and get them anything they might need
  • Pass out final payments to any vendors that still need to be paid
  • Disperse tips (if applicable)
  • Emergency Management (vendor no-shows, sick guest, unruly guest, popped buttons or seams, first aid, etc…)
  • Gather up all gifts and help get them into correct car
  • Assemble all of the Bride’s decorations and put into correct car
  • Leave Barn in the condition it needs to be in. You do not need to clean anything.
  • Return any and all security deposits to Bride or Parents (if applicable)

It is our job to make sure you are a guest at your own wedding and that your wedding planning experience is “Blissfully Simple.”

“Full Service Package”                                                                                             (an upgraded charge of $750)

Consider the full-service package as if we are your personal Bridal Executive Assistants. You dream it and we make it happen; we make the entire experience Blissfully Simple™.

  • Unlimited phone calls, emails and texts
  • Attendance at all meetings the Bride requests (schedule permitting)
  • As many meetings as I feel we need in order to stay on time
  • I will acquire all quotes and information from vendors and present to the Bride for comparison (consider us your Executive Bridal Assistant)
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors as much as possible
  • Keep a main calendar and remind the Bride of upcoming important dates by email or text (invites, vendor counts, and contract fee dates, etc…)
  • Walk through the Bliss Method Worksheet personally with the Bride
  • Assist the couple and their families with budgetary, etiquette and sensitive family issues
  • Contact each vendor and work closely with them throughout the entire planning process, providing them with pertinent information, updated wedding timeline, agenda and coordinate communication through the entire event by providing a single point of contact
  • Creation of Wedding Reminder Postcard with crucial times, locations and schedule of wedding day to be given to everyone at the rehearsal.
  • Attendance at the rehearsal and run it completely if the Pastor wishes.

  • Setting up the unity candle/unity sand or any other decorations
  • Setting up floral or any decorations if you so choose
  • Placement of the guest book & programs
  • Set up of the Memory Table (if applicable)
  • Complete management of the event (our staff come complete with radios because the property is so big.  We can be in different places and communicate if there are issues and take care of them promptly.)
  • Pin on Boutonnieres and corsages
  • Assist any special helpers (readers, musicians, guest book & program attendants, etc…)

  • Return any and all security deposits to Bride or Parents (if applicable)

This is the Elite package. We are your DREAM TEAM.  You will not need to do anything on your own.  We will be at meetings, call for quotes, look for things of interest and do the items that would waste your time.  We promise you, we will be the best money you will spend (next to the Legacy Barn of course!)
